Ethan's 3rd Birthday!

Ethan had an excellent 3rd birthday! His actual birthday fell on the Saturday of March 7th, we had some friends over, the weather was perfect, Nana was here, had a little party at the house, went to the playground, played trains...what more can a 3 year old ask for? All in all, it couldn't have been a better day! We also planted some flower seeds that we gave away in our party favor buckets.

Mystery Reader

Nana came to town for a week to visit with the kids and I during their birthday month! While she was here, she was the mystery reader at Lauren's preschool class. Lauren was so excited, and Nana did a fabulous job! Just look at the expression on Laur's face!

Snow Day!

We are having a snow day here in Atlanta! Can't really get outside (yet) because there are about 3 inches of rain underneath it, so the ground is a sloppy mess. For now, we are building "the ultimate village," which includes GeoTrax, Little People and cars, and doing lots of playing. I got a run in this morning with Steph Gillies. Ran 11 miles in the POURING rain with some hail. It was quite the run! Blue lips by the time I got home. I am finally feeling warm! We're going to wrap up the day with some baking and more playtime in our PJ's!

Christmas in KY (in February)

We finally made it up to KY for Christmas, in February! Uncle Dana and Brutus were able to come, too. We had so much fun! It even snowed while we were there. Here are a few photos from the weekend.

Kelley Came to Visit!

Back at the end of January, my dear college friend and pledge sister Kelley Raasch came to town for a visit! She was in town to meet with the CDC and planned an early arrival to spend an afternoon with us. We had so much fun! The kids thought she was hilarious and such a blast, imagine that! Lauren has deemed her the funniest person she's ever met. Lauren had so much fun and laughed so hard, in fact, that she had to change her "undies" two or three times. THAT'S how much fun we had! Here are a few shots of them playing the Dr. Seuss game called I Can Do That. They played that for a while then made up their own games with the pieces. It was great to have Kelley here for the evening, and she may be back at the same time next year! We hope so! See you in Boston on marthon weekend, Kelley!
